Revenue Accountant

Curtin Heritage is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to support local older people to lead meaningful lives.  We do this by providing and facilitating high quality and contemporary support, including residential accommodation, in-home care, and community services. The role of Revenue Accountant will include:Preparing funding and grant claims relating to both in-home (Home Care) services and Residential Aged Care services.Processing in-home supplier invoices in preparation for payment and importing into statements and portals to obtain funding.  Reconciling billing to relevant internal and external documentation, preparing reports for management and clients as required. Preparing, raising and sending invoices to clients and processing payments. Answering client queries by email, phone and in person. About you:You have a degree in accounting, commerce or finance, are ideally qualifying with a professional accounting body, and have at least one year's experience working in a similar role. You are eager to learn and develop in your career and enjoy using your advanced excel skills to streamline processes. You balance excellent customer service with care and attention to detail in everything you do. Whilst experience in aged care is desirable it is not essential as we will train you in all funding streams and in our systems and processes. What we offer:The position is initially a 12-month fixed term contract but may be extended depending on circumstances.
